Before embarking on my MFA journey, my artistic practice was rooted in exploration—both conceptually and materially. I moved fluidly between abstraction and realism, allowing intuition, emotion, and experimentation to guide the process. My work often merged traditional visual language with contemporary techniques, resulting in layered compositions that reflect a dialogue between past and present, heritage and individuality. Influenced by a range of artists and styles, I embraced mixed media, texture, and unexpected forms, creating art that is vibrant, reflective, and deeply personal. These early works laid the foundation for my current practice—one that continues to evolve while staying grounded in cultural narrative and visual storytelling.
