Founded in 2018 by Muna Balfaqeeh, MB Gallery was conceived as a contemporary platform where art and considered living intersect. What began as a vision to showcase artistic talent has grown into a curated concept store that brings together original works, collectible prints, sculptural furniture, and distinctive objects under one cohesive philosophy.
MB Gallery is more than an art space — it is a curated environment. Inspired by the quiet sophistication of contemporary concept stores, it offers paintings, editions, and design pieces thoughtfully created or selected for their presence, craftsmanship, and dialogue with space. Each work is chosen not only for its aesthetic strength, but for the atmosphere and narrative it contributes to an interior.
Our aim is to cultivate a living, evolving platform where art meets design, tradition converses with modernity, and thoughtful curation transforms everyday spaces into meaningful environments.

MEET THE CEO & FOUNDER
Muna Balfaqeeh is an Emirati visual artist, linguist, and cultural entrepreneur whose artistic journey began in childhood, inspired by watching her father paint large, lifelike canvases from memory. Art remained her constant — first as a refuge, and later as a deliberate professional path.
She holds a Master’s and Ph.D. from the University of London (SOAS) and an Executive MBA from Zayed University, bringing together academic depth and strategic leadership. Her practice spans abstract work, mixed media, Arabic calligraphy, photography, and printmaking — shaped through years of regional workshops and formal study, including her pursuit of a Master of Fine Arts at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
As her artistic voice matured, Muna adopted a refined curatorial approach, exhibiting selectively and independently at major platforms such as Dubai World Art and The Hotel Show.
Today, through MB Gallery, she merges vision, discipline, and cultural sensibility to create a curated space where art, design, and heritage converge.
